Trust me on this, life is going to be 10x harder for those still left at Dell. They are losing market share in the data center and will continue to be bullied by the likes of Pure, NetApp, and HP. The days of massive TLAs are over, the gig is up. The top sales reps in the data center are gone and selling against Dell. This trend will continue as more reps realize that the toxic culture, poor leadership, and egregious greed is what makes up Dell today. Dell is a place you do not want to be over the next 1-3 years. Consider yourselves luck to get a package, take the money and go find yourself a job to compete with Dell. It’s fairly easy to take market share from them, most all customers and partners have already known this for years.

Customer CIO told me EMC was a new Cadillac, Dell is a used Hyundai. His words, not mine. Lol
HPE wont be taking market share, they are laying off just as many, or more, than Dell.
The issue is now those who are kept want to leave as morale is so low.
Low low.
The crazy targets are coming.
Lets see how they sit and how people feel then.
this is actually completely true. EMC was so highly respected and loved for quality solutions and impeccable support. ever since dell took over it's gone to sh-t. everything dell sells is overpriced, overpromised, and under delivered. The reason they are going partner only is because 9/10 customers hate working with dell direct ... sales teams turn over every quarter, deployment teams are inexperienced high school kids, Support comes from bangladesh 24/7 and you can barely hear a word say ... come on dell go back to your roots
how so? If I still have a job, I still have time to look for a new one on my terms. still have time to ho-n my tools and quietly quitting. Not having to say I was let go from Dellzz
DG, EMC, Dell...
It’s sad to see how far Dell has fallen. Used to be such a positive place and good for careers but is now a low morale sweatshop. People who got severance are the lucky ones, life is so much better after you get out of this prison.
after almost 40 years in mainframe storage, I could not have said it better. Memorex, EMC, Dell my career.
