What frustrates me is that those at the top do not realize that some teams are short staffed to such an extent that it's become unbearable to work here.
How do we explain to them that we are becoming more and more overloaded and that our deadlines are getting shorter, all while our team has never been more short staffed? Do they want us all to leave or what?

Honestly this is at an advantage to them because people quit on their own and no severance package is needed to fund this type of silent manpower cuts.

Decreased employee morale
Overworked employees
Increased voluntary attrition
They could care less about the long-term survival of a company after they

Honestly, I doubt it will make any difference if you let management know you are short staffed/overworked. Right now, the ELT is only looking at stock prices and keeping the activist investors off their backs.
