Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Comment Quality has tanked

I still work here (Citrix/CSG/BU/Tibco) after a decade, maybe i've been here too long but i have a great team and manager plus i get paid pretty darn well. Anyhow, I've noticed a great deal of comments are personal attacks on TK and the quality has really taken a nosedive on these forums. TK is not to blame it's the people who placed him here the ones to blame including what the previous leadership left behind. Anyhow, I would like to read insightful comments. The quality was much better before Citrix sold and since then i guess the only people that comment are the pieces of tu-d left behind writing obscenities without any meaning and yet we wonder what happened to the professional people?

There are some good quality employees that remain with mortgages, paying for college, struggling like most of us during these times of uncertainty. All I'm asking if we can post things that is worth reading?

Ex: Have promotions been approved yet? Why are departments shifting away from 799 to 851? Where is the remaining portion of our bonus? Is November layoff for Citrix, Tibco, or both?

From an ex-Tibco employee.... this is the Titanic, no matter how bad you think it is, it is likely to be much worse. Milk products until they are dead... you can't replace them over night, enjoy the ride while you can.

Why bother? Horse is dead, stop beating it. Necros in the C-suite are still chewing down juicier bits and all the lucky employees who could leave already left.

What do you expect when two private equity owned CFOs are in charge of IT. It’s a race to one down each other at the negotiating table with everything.

Not to mention a lawyer running HR and marketing. Or all the other random non C-suite mug shots on the leadership page. If nobody at the top knows their job, how is anybody else suppose to work?

Well, leadership that has locked down a company so that a bad password sign on issue will not allow you back in for at least 24 hours has all of the signs of a company that will layoff. But may not need to if they lock employee's out of work. You literally have to logon now to get help with your logon. That is the level of stupid. Who needs to layoff when things like this make people quit. Service desk, wrong numbers. Hangs up on you. Links, broken. Feedback? have to logon to give it to tell them they are id--ts. Priceless. Many events but the one that forced my hand to not wait for a layoff. And yes, TK is part of the problem as bottom dollar lowest cost everything works for the owners only. And that, only so long.

This site is literally called "The Layoff", not "let's find good things to say about Citrix."

TK micromanages all these decisions. Do you expect citizens of a regime to ask “what concentration camp is better to work at?” Or “do they pay better bonuses for certain stations?”. People should be protesting the dictator.
