Is there any possibility FTC will block the deal? Why have not they approved yet, it has been so long? Looks like it could be blocked like the Qualcomm deal.

Khan isn’t dead, she will continue to govern in whatever way she sees fit based on policy and politics.

This isn’t the last merger to happen.

But the VMware acquisition isn’t going to be her next big fight. Is she going to find some reason to block it that the EU and UK didn’t? Nope. Also, she will not pay the political price of stopping yet another $70 billion deal. The FTC will get some BS concession and move on.
