I got 6 weeks (and 40hrs PTO) after 4 years, 9 months.
SEVERANCE is not two weeks per year. I was at five years 11 months and received a lump sum severance payment equal to 6 weeks of base pay, less withholdings and deductions.
It has to be the whole year to complete the ( 1 week ) if it is only 1/2 a year it does not meet 😟😔😞😒😩😩😫
Severance letter says no money if they offer you a new job or you accept a job with UHC before termination date. But then HR says it's not termination date. You aren't allowed to collect severance if they offer or you accept a new job at UHC before two weeks after your termination date.
Depends on grade/years of service
0-3 years/grades 20-26= 3 weeks, 27-28=5 weeks, 29 and up=11 weeks
4 or 5 years/grades 20-26=4 weeks, 27-28=6 weeks, 29 and up=12 weeks
6 or 7 years /grades 20-26=6 weeks, 27-28=8 weeks, 29 and up=14 weeks
8 or 9 years/grades 20-26=8 weeks, 27-28=10 weeks, 29 and up=16 weeks
10 or 11/grades 20-26=10 weeks, 27-28=12 weeks, 29 and up=18 weeks
And on and on… if someone wants a specific year, post here and I’ll add
It’s all standard. Depends on your grade. Standard is 1 week per year and they usually pay you regular through the following pay period.
Not 2 weeks per year but it also depends on your grade level and time there. They do round down for service years. Severance package details are on Sparq.
Were you laid off today? That doesn't add up, 6 weeks for 5 year? Are you shy of 5 years and they're only giving a week a year? I thought it was two weeks per year?
