They’re able to avoid WARN because they’re not laying off enough employees /don’t have enough employees in any one single state. Maybe MN, that might be close.

500 managers = thousands of employees. Reread the post. OP did not say 500 people to be let go!

Do people not know how to read or something? The post states that 500 managers were pulled into a meeting to give them a heads up that there will be layoffs. Presumably because those 500 managers are going to be the ones implementing those layoffs. It doesn't say that 500 people/managers are to be let go.
