Did the Board decide to finally end the "contractor CTO" charade? Or did SB step down? Any insights?

He won’t be missed, but what qualified CTO would come to Teradata?
SB is busy… he is got married now
and his plan are to create a SB foundation to support student… he has money to spent
It’s a sign that TD have completely abdicated innovation to the competition. No technical leadership on the LT. Pitiful.
Remember when SB posted an "I'm an LGBTQ+ ally" sign outside his door in a sad virtue signally attempt to escape NC and KCC's DIE axe? In the end it doesn't matter what you do if you're a straight white male, so at least do it with dignity, unlike SB
Nothing is more reflective of the TDC brand than an old guy, SB trying to look young with a comb-over and loud shirts. Sad but true, I say.
A lot of higher ups at TD are responsible for the company being a decade late to the cloud, but none more than SB. This is the “visionary” who actually forbid anyone to use the word cloud in TD presentations and materials. Guy has a monster ego, but no one can point to anything he’s done positive as a CTO in 20 years.
SB was believing his own PR for the last 15 years. If only attending Burning Man translated into revenue.
Is he still telling people on-prem hardware is the future and touting his tech award from 2003? Ignore that cloud software stuff. It’s just a passing fade.
