Why do they continue to promote/move management that have no proven record of growing the top line? Anybody can cut heads to keep margin flat/growing. How many people are left at DirecTV that know how to grow a business.

Management left at the company are just paper pushers with bloated bonuses. They just blame operations and marketing. I have yet to see a clear strategic direction EVER in the last 10 years. There is NO roadmap to growth.

Growing nearly breakeven or negative margin subs with several year breakeven but churn off before then is not working...

Mouth breathers, ha! Yes, it's all a popularity contest, and the popularity is NOT to be coveted by selfish, money mongering mouth breathers! If only the company was theirs, they might care more about the employees.

Do what you gotta do. Easily work DTV job as second. Low expectations. I work 10% capacity and am on to 10% performers.

They've laid off everyone who was competent and retained a bunch of mouth breathers. I've started to interview prep and going to start a new job while using all of my vacation time, getting two paychecks for as long as possible. DTV does not respect good talent.
