I've been thinking about this a lot lately. I keep worrying about being cut or learning that my location is closing but there's no good reason for it. I'm overworked, underpaid, and I have benefits that are not even worth mentioning. It's becoming harder and harder to figure out why I should worry about losing this particular job.

The manager job duties have never been this light..with the new payroll structure and having less seasonal to merchandise and upkeep it’s hRd to find enough tasks to keep busy with on non truck week..
If your having trouble keeping up and being overworked you probably don’t have a very good crew.. took me 4 years of hiring and releasing staff to get a good crew..now I have a crew that hardly ever calls in and if they need to they always cover for each other. With that being said I give them off anytime they ask for it , buy them drinks almost daily.
My advice is for you to hire a hood staff then take care of them and your work life will improve drastically
