Yes, more layoffs are needed!
I can think of two who the board needs to lay off.......
More layoffs and degradation of capabilities are forthcoming. Roman is implementing the “lights out” plan flawlessly. Then he will parachute out with millions. The American way.
Start selling off more businesses, the consumer brands, etc. This will help delay disappointing the shareholders. Then continue to sell off buildings, this will help a little, then layoff another 10,000 hardworking 3Mers to maintain the excessive salaries of the c-suite. Cut health insurance and other benefits - who needs those anyway. And there are valuable patents and contracts we can sell. Musk even sold office plants and office chairs at Twitter to cut costs.. Seems like 3M is nearly there.

Loving life outside of 3m. It’s only when you leave and try somewhere new that you appreciate your skills and abilities ……oh. And got a whopping check !
3M is headed to the ash heap of history. The only remaining question is when.
Some one here commented everything should be outsourced except manufacturing. See who get benefit of that? Not America. May be we should outsource all manufacturing as well. Then it is just 3M brand name made in some Asian country. I hope workers from those countries come here on vacations and spend their money like the way we put back our money to American economy.
So what’s weird is that i just read something about hiring almost 500 ppl in india tcoe?? Like in the last month? So we laid off a bunch of ppl and then hired this lot?
Stock price has lost 50 dollars since the "unofficial" layoff of probably a few 1000 last August and the 8500 so far this year.
Layoffs seem to be having an inversely proportional effect on stock price.
