@sxdv+1nyIlhcB Absolutely the BOD is complicit in this fiasco. Allowing JC and SR to continue trashing the balance sheet with id--tic financial decisions is despicable. JC took over a company with 30% LT debt/capital in 2015. He and SR successfully increased that to 120% in 2020 and 2021, and have managed to barely reduce it so to 90% LT debt/capital. That is nearly triple the industry norm. It's a disgrace! The BOD directors and the C Suite executives need to go. APA management is is bloated and grossly over paid.

A Suriname project is not going to save this sinking ship. Too little and way too late.

Maybe after Suriname’s encouraging news, Apa will look more attractive to a buyer. It’s relatively cheap/small for an acquisition.

To be bought out requires an attractive portfolio of assets and projects, and a motivated, talented workforce. Do we really have either any more?

And, to throw some old but unfortunately still valid questions into the mix whilst I’m here, how the h3ll is JC still in position having presided over years of mismanagement and organisational downturn?

What evidence are the Board seeing to the co teary that justifies continued confidence in JC and the Exec team?

What justifies the compensation packages paid to JC and his cohorts, especially compared with far larger and more successful E&P companies?

What does a buyer get in return?
Awesome assets? No
Highly skilled Leadership? No
Great insight to next-Gen tech? No
No one will ever buy Apache.
No one will ever fix Apache.
It is what it is.
Leaving is the best bet.

Who would buy a company with sub-par assets and a joke of an exploration team?

When are they going to start making a billion dollars a year because of the Cheniere contract. Or are these statements by JC and SR just like Alpine. Misleading and false.

Just trying to survive until someone values Suriname enough to partially bail them out (at least the execs). They made only 12 million on gas trading in the 2nd qtr.
