This company has become a joke, but I don't really understand those who say they hope to end up on the layoff list.
Why such thinking?
Isn't it always easier to find a job while you still have a job, than to face the huge stress of looking for a job when you are jobless?

I hope they trim all the dead weight off my department. They are lazy slackers!
Yeap- Troll(s) aka HR/Leadership/Loyal followers are here to play "reverse psychological warfare" just in time before earning update in July.... Same breath - "leave now" and " its not greener out there -don't leave ". They came into this forum to test the "water" or "temperature"...to update the " master" - aka AW. Pathetic!
You must be HR, who doesn’t care about the human capital, or you haven’t been here very long. This company gives such lousy raises it owes a severance to long term employees!
Have you tried to find a job lately..?? It’s not easy to do! I’d much rather take severance + unemployment to at least have a small cushion
Ref: Grass is not greener at this org or elsewhere, it’s personal decision to stay or go. Whatever it is always be mindful the ROI goal based on individual situation. No one should tell others to stay or leave. They are all intelligent enough to decide for themselves.
I think you'll find that the whole country has become a joke. If anyone finds the grass is greener anywhere else, please come back and let us know. Don't come back a month after you've left either.
D-mb question. Isn’t leaving with a payout and the ability to get unemployment better?
And lose the opportunity to collect unemployment? BFFR 😂
If you have been with the org for sometime and there is a severance policy based on tenure, would you just resign and leave that $ behind? Its like 401k matching but you decided not to save at least the amount the company will match? :-) Basic math...
