Nobody told me anything, but feel like huge lay off is coming. I can see my VP accessing performance report of my team very often from last few days.

Cronyism is the spoils system practice of partiality in awarding jobs and other advantages to friends or trusted colleagues, especially in politics and between politicians and supportive organizations.

No one told you anything? It’s only been in the papers, news outlets, CNBC, our very own CEO and repeated during quarterly financial meets… your statement is laughable … there are more layoffs coming people just don’t know when!
A lot of high performers i know have been laid off
A lot of slackers and paper pushers are retained.

Performance reports mean nothing during layoffs. You seem to be a rookie… if you survive the next round you will see that your comment makes no sense
