Thread regarding 3M layoffs

TTS renamed back to IT

After several rounds of renaming, 3M decided it is best to name this department ----- IT.
Wonder how much resources it has spend to keep changing the names

Fascinating. Change the name vs fix ERP(SAP), Digital, or legacy manufacturing systems. Prioritization at its best.

Nice work Mark! Way to earn your paycheck! (Glad we have a CIDO focused on this when all other things are in trouble)

Roman has no clue what is happening. He has lost control of his team.

As long as they keep using the term "enterprise" all will be well. It sounds so important...lol.

Talk about being over your skis. Leader of TTS is so far out of his league. He actually hired a SVP for Infrastructure during Sept layoffs. Last time I checked, Infrastructure is not a strategic service. 3M could have hired within and kept the position at the VP level but instead we have a leader more interested in building his own empire

Mark doing his best work. I remember when he first joined and thought it was funny to keep TTS but to have it mean something new/different than the old TTS.

Changing the drapes does not remove the stench. One must expunge the tenants.

Just like how supply chain/manufacturing/EO has changed names 100 times in the past 5 years.

Probably 6000 salaries were paid to some d-mb company to come up with that!
