Project management at Gaslink is not as competent as it should be. Project controls useless. Cost overruns are not openly discussed. Big pressure

Tell me things are bad without telling me things are bad. I’ll go first: “TCE to sell 40% interest in Columbia Gas Transmission” to “pay down debt and to fund other projects.”
Truly concerned with Gaslink project. Maybe it’s time to focus on assets that bring positive cash flow. Everyone needs to step up and work harder. Time to tighten up.
I speculate that they are saving them for the fall, they’ll likely overlap them in Q3/Q4.
Why do they send a press release about laying off staff to stay competitive and then only lay off 10 people or whatever it was. Investors and shippers are smarter than this if it’s for external optics of trying to look like the company is reducing costs.
Is there any hiring freeze in effect ? I see postings even external.
Gaslink is experiencing cost overruns however, as normal, there’s a pressure to sweep things under the carpet until it becomes really dusty and things will surface up. Management is aware, trying to hire less people, use attrition within. Stock has been trading range bound $50-56 however upcoming Qtr results Conf Call will be interesting to listen questions that will be asked
Didn’t know that was even on the table this year?
