Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

Is local 751 in contract negotiations now? Will we see a offer this year?

When would you insiders think is the right to short Boeing stock to make some good money off this floundering and soon failed company?

These questions are as lame as and worthless as Boeing and their nepo leadership.

pretty sad that you depend on someone else, like a worthless union, to determine your future...go out and make your own way and chart your own future instead of sitting around and wondering if someone else will make a deal in your favor, which is not likely....

Boeing will NEVER do ANYTHING for YOUR benefit.

Every contract negotiation I have witnessed Boeing has always wanted to take something away, and the employees have always wanted to keep the current benefits.

There was a rumor that Boeing wants to take away the egg guaranteed to retention that is based on years of service for the machinist union.

They negotiated this away from the professional union, and Boeing at the next round of layoffs, immediately targeted the most senior engineers for layoffs. They essentially want to lay off the highest paid employees.

I suspect they want to do the same thing with the machinist union.
