The integrity assessment process is supposed to vet our consultants and determine risks and conflict of interest. This is managed by legal affairs.

I've got no idea if there is anything similar for the hiring process, but given 3M's conservative approach to most things you'd have to believe there is something.

Yes, it's factual. Sharing his name will get this post deleted. After this info was posted on here, his son deleted his LinkedIn profile (pretty clear evidence that Tireman reads this site). But he works at Kearney's DC office and was an intern at Mattel when Tireman was a VP there. Apparently someone asked Tireman about it at a recent townhall, and MR said it wasn't an issue because there were "firewalls" in place.

It’s naive to think that MR‘s inner circle give a tw-t about Compliance course…Vale di-ked around wrong places and Tireman is no different. You hire a firm where your son works or you hire your close associates… it’s all fair game for some chosen ones.

He hired the firm his son works for? I have taken the 3M Compliance Courses since the early 2000s and I know that question has been part of the E&C Preventing Bribery and Corruption training (that was due this month) since my hire. Should you "hire" family in situations such as this...the Compliance Courses say NO. Is this factual? If so...has anyone challenged it as part of our 3M Ethics Training?

I scratch my head. 10K retrenched and then we recruit the likes of Tireman and cronies. What silly game is MR playing at ?. Perhaps he wants to say we had poor knowledge in our operations and truly incompentent leaders in place. One has to remember, its these leaders, which show us up in the outside world.. Save us from ourselves..perceived as clueless.

Tireman looks like a witch to me. I'm pretty sure he has a broom somewhere in his office.

Does this surprise anyone? He also hired the consulting firm where his son works.
