I was on that list... for the August layoff. Optum is denying my supposed sign on award, as well as a lousy week of PTO owed. My advice, get everything in writing and reviewed by an attorney before you enter into employment with this organization. So much for the "integrity" they boast in their onboarding documents as part of their "culture." I found it non-existent during my employ and ESPECIALLY after!
What about Optum rx? The field teams? They are hiring and firing at the same time- makes no sense!
Any leaders names that can be shared on Mosher’s team being jet go?

I'm in WFM and we will find out 7/19 what the final date(s) will be. I will comeback & let y'all know what I hear.
Ref; Unrealistic goal - raising the production criteria is designed to justify you are let go due to poor performance and not RIF - Why? They can justify not to pay severance out or to minimize the overall pay out. Its calculated/sick scheme to show case they are profitable and at the same time CYA to avoid legality = execs get awarded more stock options/bonuses for a job well done. NOT!

My best guess is that a bunch of us in my dept will be RIF if not just fired for not meeting this increased production that is almost impossible to meet and if you're in my dept you'll know what is going on. First the PIP then CAP and by end of August we'll be gone. I am not a slacker, been here along time and always do my best. They changed the scorecards this year and It seems stacked against us and only a few know the tricks to be able to reach this production level. There's no audits currently going on and yet that 40% score is instead added to your production score so now production score is 80% of your scorecard. How is that even fair. I know that I am not the only one who can't meet these unrealistic goals!

If it's really July, there's not much time left to get rid of 7,000. They would have to be spread out in so many locations to prevent the WARN filing. I find the number hard to believe, but time will tell.
Yes 10% or 7000 positions. Can't reveal source without compromising them. Across entire organization. Didn't see any specifics as to which department or such. Just general numbers. Heard July, not August.

10% of what? Based on the number of competitions the company keeps promoting, i say there is still lots of people with lots of extra time on their hands. Lets start with thosr areas 1st.

When my sanity is dwindling and su----e is mighty tempting…..I’ll take a freebie with the layoff and severance to rightfully aid me in recovering from this sh-t hole of a company, joke of management chain and unethical practices. The absurdity of how many federal complaints, members complaint of UHG and Optum as a PBM are mind boggling…..and why I no longer have anything to give and openly welcome my name on that list so I can smile and cry at the same on the call and say, “ Master has given Dobby a sock – Dobby is free!”.
