Considering the amount of work I do, I think I'm very underpaid. I started looking for other jobs in the industry so I'm interested in experiences of those who left this not so long ago, how much bigger offers did you manage to get?

Spent well over 10+ years grinding it out in the trenches making Nielsen tons of money back in the day while being woefully under paid. I get it! Fortunately I got my walking papers and never looked back. Now have two forms of income, neither from the same industry that Nielsen is in. Am I rolling in money? No. But do I enjoy my life a hella of a lot more nowadays? You bet.
If the only goal is a bigger offer then the right role won't present itself. I've not met a single individual who has left Nielsen in the last 5 years (either pre or post split) that has not gone on to do a more fulfilling, rewarding role somewhere else. That's a large sample. The only thing keeping you is fear of the unknown when it seems (depending on your role function) that your present is no less certain.
It matters what department you worked in at Nielsen and how high uo the level you were. If I ran a company I would not want Nielsen HRBPs or HR directors working for me because Nielsen has a history of violating employment laws.
What is your position at Nielsen and your salary? Are you allowed to work for a competitor like Comscore? Did you get laid off and sign a severance agreement? What does the agreement say? Former white Nielsen leaders are now working at FCM LLC now.
