Has anyone used arbitration to challenge their severance package offer?

I am at the start of the arbitration process.
Why arbitration? For wrongful termination based upon age and disability.
Hearsay: Sherpa guys made lots of $$ by going to arbitration after layoff. Level-2 is apparently their IP.
If you don’t know the acronyms/keywords, move on.
I agree with another post. The severance package is quite clear, so nothing really to challenge. Everything is clearly posted on the Intranet.
What’s there to challenge? They have a clear cut policy regarding severance, what’s the surprise?
