I'm long gone from Staples and have fond memories but understand that times have changed.
With so much uncertainty and so many issues being surfaced, what keeps you at Staples?

The pizza lunches
Desperation! There isn’t anything transformational about this company any longer except for continued bad decisions leading to its quick demise! Sad!
Business is Human and will Make it Easy so that More will Happen when it is Pro Time...Yeah we got that!!! Staples is a such a transformative company.
Getting paid to do very little. I know this company is one more bad decision away from being Bed Bath and Beyond but for now it pays the bills.
Is that you asking JD?
JD is the driving reason why I quietly quit long ago. I'm just here collecting a paycheck until I retire. I used to be an incredibly loyal associate who always went above and beyond. ALWAYS. Now my respect and effort applied to Staples aligns to the level of respect JD and the upper management applies to us. JD is a snake and blatantly lies about one thing or another each time JL puts her in front of us.
It pays the bills. And at my age it works for me. I just do my best to stay out of the way.
I enjoy working at Staples as long as they are not pushing their political agenda which hasn't been as bad in the past few years (mostly because we were working from home). There is uncertainty here so I do put my feelers out for other jobs, but unfortunately there is nothing that will 1. pay me as much and 2. give as much PTO. Also, I have a great manager and team.
People like you who can’t seem to move on
Amount of PTO, my age, and my insecurities.
