Thread regarding Southwestern Energy Co. layoffs

Leadership can be much better

I won't go as far to say that this leadership is terrible, but it could be much better. I don't have the impression that they are leading the company in the right direction, and sometimes it seems to me that they don't think long term at all. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I am so mad and seeing red. At our church picnic just now we took up a collection for a few employees who were laid off last year. These people poured themselves into SWN and now can’t land a job that pays anything close than before. Some are working fast food and at Sheetz to feed their family.

I hope our next CEO can manage the business and keep layoffs from NEVER happening again at this once great company. Our current CEO has lined his pockets at the expense of the hardworking men and women in the office and field.

Layoffs are planned before 2Q23 analyst call. Las Vegas odds are 1:1.

Not gonna be a big sweeping layoff but it will be something for the analysts to say hey bill great job managing the business and you are a real stalwart in this industry. (Said no analyst ever)

Congrats! SWN has set an all time record for longest tenured deadbeat CEO. What is this piece of $hit company? A joke is what it is!!

You are NOT wrong. We all need to use the EAP for work stress therapy. Our leadership is the bottom of the bottom of the bottom of the bottom of the barrel. Any peer company would have laid off I mean retired them years ago strictly based on metrics.
