Thread regarding Sears layoffs

The end is near

I purchased a toolset from Sears.com, but unfortunately, the product I received was damaged. Initially I assumed it wouldn't be a problem and that I could simply return it for a full refund.

However, upon clicking the return button on the website, I was informed that an email would be sent to me regarding the return process. I never received any such email. So I contacted Sears customer service on three times in the last two weeks, and each time they assured me that I would receive a return shipping label within 48 hours. However, I have yet to receive anything.

Really don't know what to do now. It seems like they might be aware that a Chapter 7 filing is imminent for them.

You don’t understand…The BOX is damaged, the tools are just fine. The sad, sad OP desires to return because she is disconnected from reality.

Just take your toolset to your local Sears store and get it exchanged.

It’s easy. Easy is what Sears is all about.

Just exchange your Craftsman tools at Lowe's and move on with your life.

Someone attested to the last store closing over a year ago. More lies.

What a silly, unnecessary post. So much speculation. As if you can plot all of Eddie's moves.

"And now, the end is near;
And so I face the final curtain.
My friend, I'll say it clear,
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain.
I've lived a life that's full.
I've traveled each and ev'ry highway;
But more, much more than this,
I did it my way."

I don't have to Tell you whose song ^ this is, LOL!

How can a toolset be damaged ? Mechanics tools? Gardening tools? Manicure and pedicure tools ? Eyelash curling tool set !!

Perhaps your definition of ‘damage’
doesn’t warrant a return ?

And you REALLY don’t know what to do now ‘ ??

What would one expect when shopping at Sears.com, LOL?

I went into the lion's den and am totally shocked that a lion bit me. I was expecting a bunch of furry kittens, maybe? Definitely didn't expect to find lions, in a lion's den. 🙄
