Thread regarding Nielsen layoffs

Should Nielsen CEO pay be increased due to inflation?

David Kenny made $13,798,346 in total compensation as Chief Executive Officer and Director at Nielsen Holdings PLC in 2021. $3,571,500 was received as Total Cash, $10,200,004 was received as Equity and $26,842 was received as Pension and other forms of compensation. This information is derived from proxy statements filed for the 2021 fiscal year.

Do you think he is paid fairly? Why or why not?

No idea how David Kenny is as CEO (I was gone by the time he came on board) but I thought Mitch Barnes was ok. At least he seemed passionate about the advertising/research business. Couldn't say the same for that corporate hack scoundrel, Dave Calhoun. I remember watching his interview on CNBC the day Nielsen went public and it was embarrassing. Guy had no clue. But he wase good at firing thousands, making those that were left do twice the work and buying other companies to pretend Nielsen was "growing." Even that game ran out.

It tells prospective employees to stay away from Nielsen

Who is the better CEO? Mitch Barns or David Kenny? I believe Mitch was compensated less than David. Is David W Kenny a better CEO?

Nielsen settles investor fraud claims for $73 mln

Nielsen can pay CEO David Kenny big money. Do you think now that Nielsen is private, it can lay off a bunch of people and divert some of the savings to inflate Mr. Kenny's salary? Maybe David W Kenny can make over $20 million next year.

I feel like you are the same ex employee that was entangled with a lawsuit with Nielsen. This is not for that...please check with your ex colleagues for this kind of info and quit filling up this thread with your legal questions.
