Forget FAANG. Make money on your own if you have the skillsets -> much better proposition than slaving to some greedy corporation.

They're hiring but there's no point in working there or at any "FAANG." Before there was the perception that if you spent 6 months memorizing LeetCode questions, you'd have a job for life as long as you performed moderately well. Now that these companies have gotten a taste of mass layoffs, they will continue, despite their stock rebounding. Instead of spending months preparing for impractical coding questions, learn a new skill or work towards starting your own business.
