Ok, maybe it’s just me or does this make no fu----g sense? Before Reshape Shell had ~87k employees. After Reshape Shell had ~81k employees. Now they have a staggering 93k? WTF!!!! Shell is its worse enemy. First, how does a major O&G company have so many employees. Look at their US rivals. Both Exxon & Chevron have 10s of thousands less and their stock price is double. Second, the stock price will never improve with this amount of OPEX. What happened to a lean and focused? Now it Performance, Discipline, Simplification. Too bad they don’t learn from their own mistakes.

The numbers should be going down in the near future. All of these anti oil and gas employees at Shell that are openly speaking out need the boot.
We’ve been a Dutch jobs program since Royal Dutch and Shell Trading merged. Maybe now that we’re no longer truly an Anglo-Dutch company, we can start right sizing their staff levels.
As long as the pride flag flies at our sites, no worries. All good at Shell.
Shell is doomed. Its only being a bank to host blood sucking employees, who stayed long for the money and never will survive outside.
Shell leaders are the master of bull shitters - very uninspiring leadership and useless HR, will never invest my money in Shell
Not surprised. Cannot run a company efficiently when people are changing positions every two to three years now.
Excess employee's are off-shored equivalents. Many jobs that were off-shored, were doubled overseas.
Well they are lead by the dutch! You know what they say about them learning, so what were you expecting?
