Toxic company, boring job

Being laid off can't come soon enough in my book.

I’ll be gone, you’ll be gone. Enjoy the payday and be prepared for the future. VMware is done.

Seems like the whole company is in 'waiting' mode. Long-time employees in particular

OP, I didn't know VMware is holding you against your will. Blink twice if you need help.

Meh. What the company does has no effect on me. I work with my team, do my work, disengage in afternoons and weekends, and ignore most VMware corporate emails.

If you're getting that twisted about then you're getting yourself too attached. The boring job part is on you.

I’m with yo, I have come to hate this job and company. The acquisition can’t come soon enough just waiting for my retention bonus and RSUs to pay out.

Indeed, there are many positions open for “Hrock Tran Minion Level 1”

What is boring about your job for you?
I agree it seems like everyone is just waiting for the acquisition, and it feels stale. Product decisions and sales teams seem to be moving in the wrong direction.
