Tech Ops layoff incoming today

This company doesn't know how to do this right. The best thing would have been to cut very deep in January and avoid layoffs for the year. But no, they are doing death by 1000 cuts.

Yes, this company wants to hire inexperienced cheap labor. May as well use offshore if that's the goal. Look for a better opportunity if you are over 40 NOW or have been with the company for more than 10 years as they will want to replace you.

This place discriminates for age, gender, family status. If you are older, female, and have a family, this place is NOT for you.

This a comment directed to the guy that said the highest performer got laid off, 3 years ago ten of us got laid off and out of the whole shop I had the highest numbers and even got a certificate for best sin numbers but, for all those people that are still young, just hope you get laid off already and for those older cats god help your soul

This company needs to suck off and die. The choice to layoff the talented and leave the incompetent is a surefire way to slowly go out of business.

Layoffs are still happening and many teams have been put through the blender. It's a giant sh-t show and will definitely affect performance.

Upper management is incompetent and trying to protect their bonuses rather than improve the business. They already have a backup plan and just milking this business until then.
