Thread regarding Micron Technology Inc. layoffs

A question for everyone who's left.

I've been away from Micron for a while now. I just want to hear from the people who are still there, how have things changed since the layoffs? More or less stress, work, sense of stability? Tell me your story. It may help others who read it.

"Management keeps all privileges but pushes the responsibilities down."
which is odd since upper management appears to be unusually large and bloated

Management keeps all privileges but pushes the responsibilities down. This is how micron implements “growth culture”.

Many reasons people stay. Visa, family etc.
The most serious disadvantage of Boise is that only Micron is here and no alternatives.

Micron turns into an asian company by the culture by all means, but pretending to be American. Not saying it is bad, but it is the reality.

Lol. I've colleagues that do 3 times the job that they were doing before. Others really stopped to give a fu-k.
For as much as I know half of my team is looking another job, the other half have hand tied because of their visas.....
