Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that since the BC announcement it seems like managers are giving us more busy work to do? and micro managing?

Yes - same in our BU. Tons of worthless work just to make it seem like there are things to do. Making us take trainings over and over again that we have already completed. It's nonsense.
How will we find out what a Seal would do in any situation if Mike leaves????
By accident I opened up a year old OKR doc, let’s just say they don’t age well and show the dysfunctional way of running the company.
We now spend so much time on OKRs that no work gets done.
Is Mile focused on the main thing?
Post from TheLayoff.com
Where did you hear that rumour?
Is mile Hayes leaving now?
Since you said: "I'm focused only on the main thing. I have no idea what that actually is"
here is a "main thing" you and Raghu can focus on:
import ;
using namespace broadcom;
int main() {
decltype(euc_person_kicker_t) menon = [] -> severance_t { kickedout << manager; };
return menon(), EXIT_FAILURE;
}
Can't speak to other business units, but CS TAMs are now being required to do at least three types of reporting or administrivia that they were not doing a year ago.
I'm focused only on the main thing. I have no idea what that actually is, but Raghu told us to focus on it, so that's what I'll keep doing until the Broadcom cows come home.
For some, if they are not pursuing their life long passion, like water colors, structuring the perfect haiku, wreaking havoc in the streets, it simply is not worthy. Totally understand, Braheem
I’ve only seen them quiet quitting
Busy work = Work. Some people don't get it.
What the absolute fu-k is ‘busy work’? Mung bean.
It just means they value you and am sure you have a position with Broadcom.
