If QIPL thinks they are immune, they are in denial. Most of the derivative low tier projects are getting cancelled. Who works on those ? You guessed it QIPL, good luck justifying keeping 1000+ headcount with no projects to work on.

Whatever the percentage, if you’re fortunate to survive this round, you’re really just guaranteed an additional 3 months with the current climate. The glory days of Q are long gone but for those that are left, I hope they return for you. Best of luck to everyone!

30% is a bit steep. CNBC and other news outlets are saying 25%….. but who knows - all that is certain is cuts will touch every group

30% in sd sounds like over aggressive to me.

I've been warning you layoffs were coming for months. Just heard from hr 30% layoff in SD and 12-15% small offices and international.

Correction: the lay off would be in October, not August, sorry for the typo.

Here's some confirmed information: the budget for the August layoff is estimated to be 1.7 to 2.2 times higher than the layoff in May. Assuming the layoff structure remains consistent, the percentage would be around 10%. However, it's important to note that we had a significant number of volunteers and senior management retiring, which consumed a considerable portion of the budget. Considering these factors, I anticipate the next round of layoffs to be in the range of 12% to 15%.

To prove that the layoffs are global, they will make some scape goat layoffs in India. Then they will quietly hire more employees in India to shift all the work. QIPL always gain at the expense of US.

India would be negligible.
Most cut from usa
Many small offices would be shut down
