You are just pawning your body ( time) to them, they want your soul as well.
If you ever want to hear a conference room or group call get that awkward silence say this, “I’m as loyal to the company as the company is to me”, and watch it get all silent.
What you SHOULD get is a response of “Well that’s fantastic, then things are going great then. Its awesome to hear” but instead what you’ll often get is “Well its been a tough year for us all” . LOL
