Headhunting companies. Try to contact few of them, send them CV, ask for a meeting to introduce yourself and to share what you can offer to the labor market.
There are plenty of opportunities outside and headhunters can help you find the best fit for you. Good luck!
Can I ask, how did you find other companies compared to 3M in terms of comp, opportunities, paths? I too have been hi-po lots of times and with the company for 11 years, and ready to look externally.
Congrats! Buddy.
Same here. Being HiPo for years, with the very good results, overperformer, leader with the passion to work with people, volunteering on many projects, etc. I decided to leave this environment. But I will never blame the company. It is current leadership that made me to decide to leave after almost 11 years. Should have I waited for severance? No! My mental health is much more important. Good luck everyone with your right decisions!
Nice! I have interviews over the next couple of weeks, hoping to follow you. I wish I would have gotten a severance but I’m not going to waste another year of my life for ~~3 months pay.
Good job to unshackle yourself.
Free at last,
Free at last,
Thank God almighty,
You’re free at last.
Congrats. Glad you've unloaded the burden off yourself.
Congratulations! Best decision you can make.
