Guy on my team had 87K severance package lump sum before taxes and already has an interview lined up for tomorrow.
Guess this ended up being a blessing in disguise

TO: That Guy....Not super funny and GIVEN Dell Bought EMC, not very accurate statment. Either you have nothing to do or a disgruntled former EMC. Please get a life, if EMC was so great, wouldn't they still be a standalone company??

Don’t have that big of a severance package since I’ve only been around 3 years, but have two interviews already lined up. The fish are biting on this go around, a lot of good ones got let go. Keep applying at all the partners
Not surprising that they have interviews already lined up. Any legacy EMC rep will have no trouble finding a new gig. Dell Reps on the other hand....woof
