Start looking for work now. Just heard from a co-worker all the ones who had the meetings saying they weren't in this round of layoffs will be in the September round. Please leave the company while you can. I'm already looking for another position. Heard this directly from someone involved with Quality who had meetings with the big boys.

Hate to say it but I warned ya'll long ago. The candyman cometh and he's putting jobs back where he came from. Start your job searches now and get the interviews lined up. Very little hiring is actually done in the fall because budgets are frozen. This means no actual job offers will happen until Jan/Feb when budgets open back up.
Why would you not wait for the severance that you deserve?
I work in the quality department. Which quality side are you talking about?

this has become a monthly thread and won't stop by end of the year.
for the remaining employees, prepare for any holiday season layoff.
And if you get laid off….. you will find another job. You will learn to utilize resources out there to help you transition into your next job and it might be something you like a whole lot better. Advice if you do get laid off…. Minimize expenses where you can and leave no stone unturned. Support your family’s and find ways to pay your bills. What is your option? Being homeless? Nahhh resilience is what you will be building.
And you will look back and at this time in your life as a huge lesson. No one is safe from this stuff happening. It’s how you respond and bounce back.
There are so many quality teams - are you able to say if this is specifically quality nurses ? Quality over ….? Or maybe what pillar of quality will be affected ?

Are you saying that every dept who had a meeting discussing the lay offs but wernt actually laid off… will be laid off in September?

Most things will be offshored and automated moving forward. Lots of process flows eliminating layers this round will be worse than last time around! Everyone grab some tums
