Got the dreaded Friday phone call.
At least two Experis contractors laid off from Kyndryl.
Access cut that day to Kyndryl.
And of course send the laptop back.
Might be many more.

How can a company less than 2 years old have 2 layoff cycles and thrive?
I was layoff in July, Most Canadien contractor was layoff in July and August, Kyndryl financial statement is not at is highest level and this is what append when you lose big accounts and support contracts. Resources are difficult to get and keep, this strategy will follow them when business will come back, When layoff is done in that situation,, they want more profit. Period.
Meanwhile they just laid off 600+ of the people that worked on the ATT MIS contract
I will voluntarily be parting ways with Kyndryl. I have come to dislike the work environment and culture. Ever since we had layoffs. There has been a sense of cut-throat every man for themselves. It is most prevalent among the persons who survived the layoffs'. The persons that were laid off, then were recalled back are mistrusted, There is real division between these two groups. The Recalled group are viewed as lackys and informers for management. I enjoyed the work I did for Kyndryl. In my new position I look forward to a normal work environment
I see in Kyndryls earnings report they basically broke even. Wall street is celebrating this achievement. When you bear down on the numbers. There still is a whole lot of red ink with big negative signs. Any other company and there would be a fire sale going on. All smoke and mirrors.
Excuse my ignorance, but what were the Experis contractors tasked with doing at KD? And how many overall are there working at KD?
This is only the beginning. They have no choice, This company has 90,000 employee's right out of the gate from IBM. That's a big payroll nut to crack every month, every year. Most of these employee's are making a lot in salary and benefits. This company will cut employee's to stay competitive and profitable.
