Scheduled for training next week

Part of me thinks I’m safe because I have a training scheduled for next week, part of me thinks they would keep it scheduled just not to give people an idea of their fate so they remain productive until the end. This is the most agonizingly painful wait and see ever

It is awful having to work as normal if it’s a few months away.

Always mitigate your risk. If you don't need iit, don't buy it. Start working on your resume. Stay busy and don't jeopardize your health by stressing out. Keep your Vegas nerve settled down and love yourself. Know that you bring value to this world.

The “scheduled training” is just code word for your exit interview.

I just got hired 3 weeks ago to a corporate job. I don’t think a scheduled training means you might be safe.

You will be expected to work like usual until whatever end date they give you. lets say you get termed with an end date of october 1. You have to work as normal until that date in order to get the severance. That's way harder than this
