Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

How big will QCA be impacted?

Back in 2018, in the AH after the layoff, a leader mentioned higher ups discussed if to close the Bay Area office, they found this office provided good value, so no shutdown. Does anyone know roughly how much will QCA be impacted this time?

Why worry about QCA, the problem is in QCT, too many redundant jobs there. Vp hire senior director hire manager hire principle hire senior staff hire staff hire senior and hire engineer. And how many of them really works? Senior and engineer. Above guys just collect reports..

There is far more going on in the Santa Clara office than just QCA. Yes, the 10 story leased buildings by SJC were vacated during COVID, but the workers were simply moved to a newly renovated and expanded office in Santa Clara. The Santa Clara office has been there for about 15 years, but was preceded by a Campbell office going back to about 2000.
