The following are the most at risk employees for layoffs
- anyone sharing a job with another person.if there is 5 then they will keep 4 even if 4 is not enough.
2anyone who is between projects.
3anyone who management doesn't like or wants to fire.
- persons far from the revenue stream
5project managers.they can often be the bellwether on whether a company is growing or shrinking.
6any person that has just been assigned to a project that has just failed to keep funding.the logic is when you assign people to a new project you take them from other places and those places are already functioning without them.
7anyone who's job can be outsourced to a contracting firm.full time employees are in a different portion of the budget than than contractors and if that's the part of the budget being slashed then it might look better on the books to switch to a contractor.
