Is that true? If so, does anyone know exactly what that entails? Is that HR, IT, finance, etc or does that include things like case management and utilization management? I hate how broad and general her email was. Really cruel.

Customer facing probably means offshore customer and provider reps and stores that manage to stay open. There are 4 stores in a 5 mile radius from my home. The closest one to me is empty most all of the time.
Stores will be continuing to close due to this cutback
They don’t lay off store employees. They just close the store and transfer the employees to another under staffed store. Hoping you will quit because the commute is too long.
Karen is just pi----g off all CVS Health employees so they will quit.
The disclosure was "non-customer facing" or something to that extent. This includes corporate office employees. It could also include distribution center/warehouse personnel, claims processors, utilization managers, and so on. It just depends on the broadness of "non-customer facing" and whether or not they were lying.
Could be anyone, Unlikely to be pharmacists , employees working in a store, minute clinic staff, or home care nurses who are seeing customers in their home. If you're behind a desk on a computer all day , youre likely at risk
How Karen presented this layoff announcement was cruel. I don’t want to hear that leading with heart anymore, it’s made up cr-p. But they want us to keep working and doing the best for the customer. If they are going to lay me off do it now. And don’t tell me my final day is 3 months from now. I’ve had that happen with two other companies and it su-ks.
