Any word if the company is doing any layoffs? It’s the beginning of the fiscal year and I’m just curious.

Neiman's was part of a consortium of business to limit workers rights in California .They feel employees are beneath them..those who defend this company must like being treated poorly..
It is an annual tradition at NM to eliminate positions usually in the 2nd or 3rd week of August. Long term employees look out. If you are called to HR. Go to the hospital then take a medical leave.
If it's for the good of the company why be sour
All stores are trying to cut costs..
So hiring doesn't occur .or they are getting rid of longer term employees to hire at lower wage... You mean zero to them .. they call it "selective pruning". Minus board positions created consolidating ..is what they are doing to save a few million
