Did everyone receive the email that they’re rescheduling the Helping with Heart workshops? Not many details but I think we all know why. Just curious if everyone received that email, or if we can deduce that it’s just the individuals who are getting laid off.

Update, as stated earlier I am one of the volunteers that signed up to facilitate these sessions. Every colleague from each department is supposed to go through these sessions and there are multiply offerings. Not all have been cancelled. The reasons you are seeing cancellation is some departments (aside from not having a facilitator) is all the colleagues have attended. I confirmed today that this is one of the reasons.

Hi All, I actually volunteer to lead some of these sessions. To give context all of the or most of the facilitators are volunteers from many different departments outside of L&D. I don’t think it’s an indicator of anything. There are a lot of holes coming up where no on signed up to lead a session so with everything that is most likely why the delay or cancellations you are seeing.
I don’t think it means anything. They wouldn’t bother send this out just because you are being eliminated.
Everyone who had signed up for my course was included in the cancellation email. What are the odds that everyone who picked that session will have their jobs eliminated? I don’t think we can read anything into it.
Thank goodness they’ve finally realized what a colossal waste of time and money that ridiculous program is. I do not think receiving that email is a sign of anything. It’s more about being unable to continue this cruel layoff amidst training people on how to lead with heart. Can’t do both!
I did receive that email, I am assuming it is across all lines of business. The LD&P folks may be impacted too.
