Thread regarding Commscope Inc. layoffs

CFOs debt plan?

What do you make of the CFO's comment about the detailed plan for dealing with debt being announced before or at the next earnings call? What's in the works? Sell off part of the business to pay bills? Related to the move to divide CCS up into 10 smaller market focused groups?

I don't know what's going to happen, but I wish they'd just rip the bandaid off already. I don't want to see ppl get laid off, but the writing is on the wall and no sense in having everyone suffer just to delay the inevitable.

Get on with it already so those that are going to get laid off can get new jobs and move on with their lives and those that stay can get back to work.

This schedule is the biggest pantload I've seen in 25 years of being here. I'm sure they were patting themselves on the back with this schedule considering that it doesn't effect them one iota.

Think you are right about the mandatory packages. You would normally go above and beyond the bare minimum to show the company has some sort of care for its employees and prevent an exodus of the remaining staff when they realise the cupboard is empty.
This lot this year have proven they don't give a a f*** about staff opinion or making the company attractive for future employees. They've got their bags packed for the last helicopter out of here and they are taking everything they can.

Yeah..whoever said about the death spiral-hit the nail on the head.
Agree c suite waiting to ride off into the sunset with their pre agreed packages and leave us minions who will get noting more than the mandatory as per country work laws.
They have absolutely no regard for hard work/ loyalty or years of service.

Since CS took over Arris it has been a rudderless drive to a cliff edge while the clueless d...s carry on wasting company money on private jets to pointless meetings across US of A while Robyn keeps telling us plebs that the latest 'anonymous' survey (I got a reminder I hadn't filled in the survey) was showing a high level of happiness and satisfaction with the way things are.
The fat cats are creaming it off while there is still some left.
RIP CS

Wake up! There is no real plan to turn the company around! Chuckie is just biding time to cash out as CS goes into its final death spin.

C suite ppl do what’s best for them and the board. Employees are merely slaves who have been brain washed to believe the company cares for them.

In the end (which isn’t that far in the future considering the stock price today) everyone needs to be biding time and get a new job. Seriously cannot imagine being there now. But some ppl like to be miserable so they can complain.

Any more loud proclamations about concentrating on EBITDA? Ahh good old EBITDA, that’s what’s important right?

I do not understand this obsession with HN!? Even if HN is sold for top $$, that will hardly put a dent into the $9.5B debt burden. I think OWN is in a far worst situation than HN, while HN had the 3rd highest net sales for Q2. The CFO should be fired and his salary go toward the debt repayment. He sat around doing god knows what while interest rate was low, and failed to take the opportunity to restructure the debt. The genius that decided to buy Arris with huge leverage is the same ingenuity that ignored refinancing during the low interest rate cycle, and piled up the repayments sequentially between 2025 through to 2029! Now that interest rate is on steep upward trajectory, that is the time the CFO decided to address the elephant in the room! If he thinks 2025 is a problem, I'm curious to see how he will address 2026 repayments!?
They had planned to carve up the company, sell off BU's, but covid dashed their plans. How else can one explain why no meaningful growth initiatives have been executed since the Arris acquisition? Thank god for BEAD & RDOF is all I can say because current sales are not being realized by any C suite accomplishment.

Whoever believed CxO said, s/he has not been working long enough to gain "work experience". CS wanted to sell HN, but 3rd parties find its no-value and this is the truth. The debt has been talking looong even when zero interest rate era. CS is done and time is ticking for bankruptcy.

According to Kyle we don’t have to worry about the debt until at least 2025 after he retires lol
