Usually, there are no layoffs on Fridays, so am I to assume that this round will be wrapped up today?

I believe layoffs will continue theou Friday, 10th of August based on what our director just said.
It is 8/10, as in the purported next date for layoffs.
What does 8/10 mean?
I think the rumor about the 8/10 is true because there's a couple meetings next week with leadership and usually that happens prior to a reorg or layoff
Seems like todays round was small or not much activity on here about it, which leads me to believe it’s not done. So either it’ll continue tomorrow or there’s truth to the 8/10 rumor that’s been floating around on here.
