Thread regarding Waters Corp. layoffs

Continous manufacturing

Continous manufacturing in the colum packing area is beyond the capabilities of the current management.attempts to pack specific part numbers 24/7 or 16/5 on an ongoing basis is failing miserably.the stages from store to floor need to happen in atleast two stages.1 order picked, powder weighed, hardware assembled, chamber and restrictors added plus slurry .2 handed over to packer.ideally powder would be produced on site too.processes and stations need to be at an excellent standard where only human error is the main variable for failure.this would take huge financial investment and the best in innovative and leadership capabilities.

Baffling the id--tic ideas to increase production.the recent one a rub off target board where you put in (half time⚽️)outputs and full time outputs and then rub it all off is ridiculous. Its treated as a joke by long term employees.is this the best a clueless project team can come up with when employees are at risk of losing their jobs.what are these people doing with their time.a thorough rooting out of meaningless made up jobs is badly needed.over to you kevin
