Have any of you had a team meeting with your supervisor? Nothing on my team and my supervisor has said nothing

We've had meetings and were told we were "safe for now", but they are restructuring our department and it almost feels as if they are getting rid of a particular set of roles but aren’t really being honest and forthcoming about it. Our AMs have stated that they don't know much of anything going on. I do believe that the "customer facing roles" not being laid-off is bull cr-p or is more so in reference to the stores.
We had a team meeting with our director involved and they said they hadnt heard anything but felt we were safe.
My manager is OOO until the 9th or 10th. Convenient, no?
The department meeting with our VP was moved to September. It was supposed to be at the end of this month. It felt like a cowardly way out
Of course not. You will find out on 8/11 when the severance packages are direct deposited.
I’m just to the point that if you’re going to get rid of me then do it now. Keep serving the customer… blah!!!
Seeing much of the same here with little info flowing down yet. Messages we are hearing from the levels directly above are similar of 'we know nothing' and 'keep serving the customer', etc.
They have been repeating the 'not the stores' so it will likely focus on Aetna and Caremark. Top guy in both places wrote along the lines of 'keep focusing on the customer' and more info to come. In both cases VP level people at are announced to be leaving.
We got a “ we are 99% sure it won’t affect us.” I’m on the coram side. We already lost about half our department due to previous layoffs. Our manager thinks these layoffs would be on the Aetna and Caremark side. But who knows.
All the same variation of "yes, we know you're concerned. no, we don't know much more. we'll see, but still get your work done."
Same
We had a regularly scheduled team meeting yesterday and my manager did address it, said she knows we are all concerned. Assured us she has heard nothing and neither has our department director or lead director. She doesn't think we'll be affected as we lost 3 people in the last year and none of the positions have been filled, but of course you never know.
