I don't think HCM will take a big hit. But I'm just kind of worried it would happen to me. 1% layoff could be 100% to me.
Lol , who is your VP and Exec Dr ? Initials would do , I can understand.
If A&BC and HCM are gonna take
significant hit then I believe we should be ready for any eventualities no matter what anyone says.
My AVP, Exec Dr told me the same thing and it made me wonder if we are from same team. However, during one on one with my supervisor yesterday he told me that A&BC, or more specifically HCM, will be affected. And he's sure our team has the minimal possibility to be affected.
Our AVP, Exec Dr , Ld Dr just told at a meeting that they do not have much info but our org over-performed 50% in terms of target and our impact amd value addition is directly related to improving efficiency that translates to increasing revenue and with the focus on Automation and Generative AI . So he personally thinks that Data Science team should not be impacted and if at all it would be minimilistic. But he mentioned that it is his personal opinion and nobody has told him that we are at lower risk.
However , looking at other responses here. Looks like the Data and Analytics team will more or less be fine.
The Clinical Services (UAT) department just had a department meeting where the senior manager informed us that analysts & senior analysts should not expect to be affected for this layoff. If any individuals would be affected, it would be middle management positions at this time.
I am from the data engineering teams. Our director notified us that we are safe and the effect on whole analytics vertical would be extremely small even if there is something.
