The fact is, we are the ones who will suffer because of our leadership's mistakes, while they will pass mostly unscathed. If things continue like this, the future doesn’t look bright for this company.

How is it suffering to get paid not to work for this toxic corporation anymore?
CVS paid more for their latest acquisitions according to market experts. acquisitions closed sooner than predicted. Since the last acquisition, we started seeing a freeze in operational budgets, reduction in contractors and now this. People worked 14 hour days for months to build COVID vaccine program and keep CVS running during the pandemic. CVS Made tons of profits which were invested badly by execs. Now they are letting go the very people who helped CVS make profits and paid hefty bonuses to execs. If Execs really care for their employees, they can forego their hefty bonuses for a year and that should be enough to offset the cost of 5000 employees.
CVS Equation of work and pay.
Make Bad decisions costing company billions = High Pay + Hefty Bonus + job safety
Work hard + make profits for org + sc--w your health and family time = LOW PAY + low bonus + Worthless HAW Points + Chances to get laid off + BE VICTIM TO ANXIETY DISORDERS CAUSED BY THE SAME EXECS
We lose that is for sure. What we get from them is they care, they are here for us but focus on the customer. Are you freaking Kidding me!! This is our livelihood
On what basis are November and Spring being claimed? I think you can make a case for November where RTO non-conformers face the exit. Company hopes that RTO will give them certain level of voluntary churn. If it does not, they will target people. What is driving this spring forecast?
This company does lay offs. this is the third major layoff in three years, with at least two more planned . To work here means you have to be prepared to be without a job at any time . it should be part of onboarding , how to handle the layoff process that will without fail , be coming. Maybe they can add it to the job descriptions, "and be prepared to be laid off at any time. "
Very well said and so true! Poor decisions by upper management yet the little guy always gets screwed.
What type of leadership does this to their employees? None of this layoff is right and apparently we still have more than a week to go? Then another in November, then another next spring?
I had to go to the doctor to anti anxiety medication. It's consuming me
That’s what you get for staying with this toxic corporation.
