Severance info is in My HR policies under “CVS Health Severance Plan for Non-Store Employees”. Severance pay is based on # of weeks and grade. The chart on the last page will give you an estimate if you’re let go.

Severance package: basically its by job code- the first set would apply (I believe to this layoff) max at 20 weeks.

It really is disgusting once you consider that people are contributing 40-50% of their waking hours (if not more) to work and work-related tasks, and their reward is a bare minimum severance package and a state unemployment benefits pittance. Not to mention things like health insurance benefits are tied to employment status. This country needs better labor laws and employers need to be held accountable for disrupting the personal finances and livelihoods of their employees -- including the (ab)use of overseas outsourcing initiatives.

And since they've slashed costs they can now afford to have another 25 additional Executive Vice Presidents.
