The management knows, your boss knows. They not saying anything yet. Some teams were told they are safe. why Not tell us first if we are getting laid off, then send that email saying we sadly had to lay off 5,000. Stupid

Supervisor here…we honestly know nothing more then what anyone else who got Karen’s email knows…Although I think it was handled in a poor way, it doesn’t help to put people more on edge by encouraging others to believe their supervisors and managers know something and are hiding it from them…I would love to know as much as anyone else, but I don’t, and any other supervisor or director I’ve talked to would say the same.
It's been reported it will be non-customer facing positions.
Positions that don't generate revenue will be under scrutiny. HR, Managemen, and IT. Teams that don't directly work with customers/members/clients. I'd be really worried if my department was actively training offshore staff or a bot could be programmed to do my job. Some of those lazy Managers and Directors who haven't run their areas well should be worried right about now....

It's unfortunate but there have been massive layoffs. When our membership goes down so does staff. It typically happens when there is a big establishment government in charge. Vote
I am in leadership and we know as much as our teams do from that email. Most of the time we don’t find out until right before everyone else does.
Executive director here. I work under Prem/Michelle and don’t know much of anything. Had a Frank discussion with my VP yesterday and he said he’s as much in the dark as I am.
Is the layoff info at the VP level or the Exec Dir level? Any insight?

I'm a senior individual contributor in PBM accounting/finance. My manager has received talking points but they were vague. Absolutely nothing has been announced by the group's executive director or VP. This is agonizing and disrespectful. I've already started talking to external recruiters.
Sr. Manager in the PBM here....I haven't gotten any extra info...nor have any of the other managers in other areas I talk to. Su-ks being in the dark, especially when you have people reporting to you that are anxious/scared of losing their jobs.
UM dept… my manager says she believes we are safe, as we “usually are.” Not super reassuring.

As of late yesterday, my manager is saying he doesn’t know any more than we do right now. Seems like there was some flurry yesterday on the layoff tracking post, but it’s been kind of quieter today. The not knowing part is agonizing. I hate my obsession with this site right now, checking every few hours all day to see if anyone’s heard anything new.

I do call center work. I don’t see how we could be laid off right now, it’s too busy. Unless they already have people trained to take over
I’m part of the DDAT org under Tilak/Roshan. Our team was notified by our director that we were safe. While very appreciative, I still feel for those impacted.
